Information On Marriage Resident

Marriage visa in the US provides you an opportunity to spend your whole life with your partner in the country. After obtaining this visa, you or your spouse can comfortably arrange your marriage. After marriage resident of the country has full rights and entitlements to live in that country as a permanent member after getting this visa.

In some cases, your residence status is considered as conditional. If it is based on a marriage that was less than two years old, the resident (you or your spouse) will have to clarify that your marriage is not completed yet to avoid the immigration laws of the U.S.

If your marriage occurs outside the U.S, your foreign-born spouse can not enter into United States until he or she obtains a residency card. If your foreign-born spouse submits a visa application form I-130 to Immigration and Naturalization Service, the process of providing him/her a permanent resident status in the U.S will automatically start. Your foreign-born spouse can also submit this form directly to the U.S Embassy of Consulate in the country where he lives.

Your foreign-born spouse receives the green card within two years after being married. This card enables your foreign-born spouse all the entitlements and rights. With the help of these rights your spouse can enjoy all the benefits of a permanent resident in the U.S. There is no need to spend your life as a conditional resident. Instead of being a marriage resident, you or your spouse can pass your whole life as a permanent resident.
